Our mission

Nepal is still a developping country and Kathmandu has the highest slum population among the country. The city is filled with children of all ages begging for food, starving from malnutrition, children born and sleeping in their streets, many without parents.

Our Team saw straight away how roughly the children are living, we heard about children thrown out of their own homes, about families not having enough to eat so they had to give away their children. We have seen young children searching the local garbage dumps for any food scraps, trying to survive on their own. We knew we could help.

Even if many, many more orphanages are needed to bring in the thousands of children from the streets, we are presently doing our best to feed, care, house, clothe, educate and love the orphaned children in Nepal. The first priority is an urgent call to help the abandoned children left in the streets with no one to care for them, no one to hug them, no one to feed them. They are left there to die and they die daily.

Hamro Sunaulo Sansar cares for orphans and vulnerable children around the country, whether they are orphans, semi-orphans, homeless, abandoned, abused... Some of them were brought here after the earthquake, others are also girls from poor families where they are not loved nor wanted simply because they are girls.

Our mission is to be dedicated to care for children from all races, creeds and cultures. Every single child deserves a future and a hope. We may not be able to save all the children around the country, but we can give a future and a hope to thousands, one child at a time, together.

Lots of children face poverty and violence in their regular lives. We believe all children deserve a life free from injustice and abuse. Our mission is to protect the children who were deprived from their dreams regardless of their illness, disability or indeed poverty. All children deserve to have a life surrounded by love, to have nutritious food, education, health and safety.
